Our History

Ms. Owens was inspired to create and develop a youth and family resource program designed to serve those in need—youth at risk, families in crisis, and individuals facing challenges such as drug and alcohol addiction, HIV and AIDS, or involvement in the criminal justice system.

Throughout her career, Ms. Owens has mentored and supported many individuals who were struggling in school, experiencing homelessness, or on the verge of giving up. She instills trust, hope, and the belief in the power to persevere. She firmly believes in the transformative power of "hope, love, emotional and financial support."

A gifted relationship builder, Ms. Owens encourages individuals to pursue both educational and personal goals. She has earned a reputation as a trusted resource for reinforcement, guidance, and referrals, making her a go-to person for those in need of support.

Founder's Message

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." – Galatians 6:9

As the founder of R.E.A.P., this verse has been a guiding principle throughout my journey. It reminds me that the work we do—no matter how challenging or difficult—has purpose, and the impact of our efforts will be felt when the time is right.

At R.E.A.P., we believe in the power of perseverance and the importance of sowing seeds of hope, love, and support in the lives of those we serve. Through each program, each interaction, and every act of kindness, we are investing in the future of our youth and families. Though the path can be tough, we remain committed to our mission, knowing that our work will lead to positive, lasting change.

Together, we are planting the seeds for a brighter future, and by continuing our efforts, we will reap the rewards of a better, stronger community.
